What is the Mid-Autumn Festival?

Celebrated annually on the 15th day of the eight month of the lunar calendar, Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as “Moon Festival” or “Moon Cake Festival,” traditionally celebrates the end of the fall harvest in China and some other Asian countries and regions. Nowadays, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a time when family and loved ones come together to celebrate, eat good food, and yummy moon cakes.

We’ve included some interesting stories, traditions, and even some recipes to try for the Mid Autumn Festival!
